This caused a lot of controversy amongst the Authority, and due to the demanding and bossy attitude from bubbleGuy192, construction and motivation in the city slowed and deteriorated.

TBoneX07 and salthepal128 asked bubbleGuy192 to make the New Bubbletown Authority more balanced, and bubbleGuy192 agreed. On 17 October 2021, bubbleGuy192 made the new authority which was comprised of the main city owners as well as some builders that helped with the city. However, despite the more balanced authority structure, bubbleGuy192's very demanding and adamant behavior persisted.

Because of this, TBoneX07 removed bubbleGuy192's associtation with the city (aside from the name) and left the authority on 6 November 2021.

Before Map 11 was released, [[bubbleGuy192]] intended for the Bubblemall Complex to have 8 identical towers, but this was narrowed down to 4 and then finally 3 to save resources and maintain motivation.

The complex features its own train station in the basement that has connections to both the Railway Trade Union station, Trans-World Railway station, and other points of the city.

Some features of the towers include:

- The Bubblemall Sky Gardens on the roof of the East Tower

- The Bubblemall Tranquil Gardens which is beside the East Tower

- A Dance Club on the top floor of the Southwest tower for events or parties

The mall used to feature a seasonal shop which was ran by TBoneX07, however it is now closed.

The entire complex took about 80 stacks of snow blocks, 71 stacks of wood planks, and 68 stacks of glass. The tower was designed by bubbleGuy192, and was built by players such as midgetpounder, [[TheXLMinecrafter]], [[Mixarium]], samwoot, [[luigiriot]], [[TBoneX07]], [[bluecrafter07]], [[salthepal128]], PlotyMinecraft, [[CalmCreeper360]] and others.

Bubblemall was quickly constructed after New Bubbletown was founded, mainly to serve as a center for commerce and shopping, but also to attract builders to the city. Both objectives were met and were very successful during the early days of Map 11 and New Bubbletown. Bubblemall also was the foundation of the "vertical mall" style of architecture.

For some time, the Bubblemall complex (specifically the East Tower) held the record for the highest building on Puucraft, surpassing the build height by 1 block due to a glitch. However, the record was lost after the construction of the [[Puustaff Tower]] located in the downtown district of Mesome. The Puustaff Tower holds the record for the same reason, but the glitch was intentional on the Puustaff Tower for the design of the antennas, while the East Tower was accidental during the construction of the Bubblemall Sky Gardens.

Today, Bubblemall is mostly vacant, containing only 2-3 tenants who rarely restock their shop. However, the complex still sees some players shopping, or players arriving from the train station, or coming to explore. Bubblemall, despite losing a majority of its tenants and value, is still an iconic and important piece in New Bubbletown and will remain a staple in the history of New Bubbletown and the impact of trade during Map 11.

Problems arose almost immediately after construction began. The site needed to be big. Forests and hills were cleared. Outlines and perimeters for each building were marked. However, 4 towers occupied a lot of space and was an inefficient expense of materials and labor. Because of this, 3 towers were built. To go along with this, when the warp at Bubblemall was established, there was a glitch that caused players to start suffocating momentarily upon warping. This was resolved around a month later. Also, there were issues between players and groups such as the Railway Trade Union as well as bubbleGuy192 who at this point, showed pride on the surface but behind the scenes was extremely disappointed with the result of Bubblemall.

While originally built in the center of the town, it is now considered to be located in the heart of the New Bubbletown "slums", a term used by players that describes the very dense, urban district that features a lot of buildings designed for economic purposes, yet remain empty or abandoned. Most of New Bubbletown’s activity has been focused toward the more developed and nicer uptown region, which today receives more player traffic.

Bubblemall had also influenced the creation of other skyscraper malls, also known as "vertical malls" as stated previously. However, most of, if not all of these malls are completely vacant, and one is permanently closed. This issue has affected the shopowners and mall owners, which has led to the vertical mall style of architecture being deemed as obsolete.

The '''Puucraft Backrooms''', commonly known as the '''Puurooms''', is a massive and randomly segmented empty room maze located in Puucraft. It is impossible to get in unless you got teleported in, or were punished by staff. It is based off of the real life counterpart, The Backrooms, a post on 4chan in 2019.

''"If you're not careful and noclip out of Puucraft in the wrong areas, you'll end up in the Puurooms, where it's nothing but the stink of old moist wool, the madness of mono-sandstone, the endless background noise of glowstone at maximum hum-buzz, and approximately 750,000 square meters of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in. God save you if you see someone's nametag nearby, because they sure as hell have seen yours."''

The Puurooms consists of 750,000 walk-able blocks, which is about the same scale as Brixworth's protection claim. The full room of the maze is coated with bedrock to prevent anyone from breaking in or out.

Only about 1% of the Puurooms are mapped, and consists of several levels.

Players inside the maze are unable to chat and use commands.

There is a phenomenon in it where at any given moment, a player can get teleported anywhere in the Puurooms. Whether it is 50 blocks away from where you were, the entire opposite side, or a completely different level. It is also possible that certain areas and rooms get blocked off, resulting in some areas to become inaccessible. The music disc 13 will also play.

== Levels ==
=== Level 1 (The Puurooms) ===
Known as just The Puurooms, it consists of 250,000 walkable blocks, sandstone walls, yellow wool carpet, and a snowblock/glowstone ceiling. Most players that end up in this level will first start out here. It features some special rooms such as the library, furnace room, a pool room and the bread room. There are also several obsidian blocks with levers on top of them. However, it is unknown if these do anything. Level 1 also consists of many small corridors, and many big rooms. Only about 4% of Level 1 has been mapped.

=== Level 2 (Poolrooms) ===
Known as Poolcore or the Poolrooms consists of another 250,000 walkable blocks. Unlike level 1, level 2 is much more open. However, it is more difficult to navigate as players have to swim through the level. The water is only 1 block deep, so it is impossible for players to escape by drowning. The Poolrooms feature some staircases leading to different rooms of the Puurooms, or even different levels. Despite what we know, 0% of the Poolrooms have been mapped. The only 2 ways to enter The Poolrooms is to take the Fun Purple Tunnel from Level 1, or get teleported.

=== Level 3 (The Basement) ===
The level's appearance is in the name. 250,000 walkable blocks of a basement made of stone, cobblestone, and occasionally mossy cobble. The level is not very open, similar to Level 1. And the level is dimly lit, but mobs do not spawn. There is very little information about this level, and the only 2 ways to exit this level is to find The Hole which is a hole that takes you back to Level 1, or to get teleported to Level 1 or Level 2. 0% of Level 3 has been mapped.

=== Level 4 (Factory) ===
This level is very unknown, and appears to be taking place in a newer version of Minecraft, as it contains walls made of iron bars throughout the level. The level is built out of stone floors, brick/iron bar walls, and a stone slab/glowstone ceiling. The overall size of this level is unknown, but based on the similar style to Level 1, it can be assumed that this level is about the same size, if not larger. The only known way to enter this level is to take an elevator from Level 1.

=== Level 5 (Office) ===
This level, along with Level 4 is very unknown. The overall theme of this level appears to be similar to that of an office building, containing bright walls made of clay and quartz, and is very open, unlike Level 1 and Level 3, containing only a few pillars and walls. This level also contains windows, however when looking out these windows, the only thing that can be seen is bright, blue void. Based on the found footage, this level seems to be smaller compared to the other levels, but this is unknown. The only known way to enter this level is to walk down an extremely long hallway from Level 4.

=== Level 6 (Palace) ===
This level, along with Levels 4 and 5, is very unknown. The overall theme of this level appears to be some sort of palace or cathedral, with walls made out of sandstone, and grand floors made of wood and what is assumed to be concrete. There is also many chandeliers made of fence and lanterns. Because of this, it is confirmed that certain levels are in different versions. This level is brightly lit, but it seems quite closed off, with very few large, open rooms. Most of the level appears to contain hallways. This level, based on its closed off style, similar to Levels 1, 3, and 4 can be assumed that it is very large. The only known way to enter this level is by taking a dark, stone stair well from Level 5.

=== Level 7 (Ocean) ===
This level, is the least known level out of all the discovered levels. It appears to be a massive, water filled level, containing only water and sky. As nothing but water can be seen across the horizon, it is assumed that this level is the largest level discovered yet. However, this is not confirmed. Based on found footage, it is unknown if there are any forms of landmass. The only known way to enter is level, is by glitching through the floor in Level 6, however it may be possible that you can enter this level in all of the other levels.

It is assumed that every player that has once entered the Puucraft Backrooms, has eventually left. The longest somebody has been trapped inside, and managed to escape was MauveTheHunter who spent 185.8 hours from 7/26/22 to 8/3/22 trapped inside.

However, the only player who is known to still be stuck in the Puurooms, is Florx_Lord (Florx). Florx was last seen on July 29th, 2022, and has not left the game since. He is unable to chat with anybody, and is unable to leave the game, or get kicked/banned from the moderators. His current playtime is 3,250 hours. The only know we know that Florx is trapped in the Puurooms is through a camcorder found in a ditch near the town of Bluemont. The camcorder's film contained video filmed by Florx, and the video contains 4 new levels, never seen before.

== Found Footage ==
On July 29th, 2022, a camcorder near the town of Bluemont was discovered in a small dirt ditch. When the film was developed and started, a 7 minute and 36 second long video started to play, recorded by Florx_Lord (Florx). The video contains no audio, however, subtitles were enabled during the recording, allowing us to hear who we assume Florx talking, as well as some eerie and disturbing background audio.

During the recording, around a minute in, Florx takes a turn into a dark corridor, that is dimly lit by redstone torches. After walking around, Florx finds an elevator. (This location has never been documented or seen by the builders.)

Surprisingly, the elevator did work, and it ended up taking Florx to an entirely, new, and unknown level, containing a stone floor, brick walls, and occasionally walls made of iron bars. However, iron bars were added in Beta 1.8.

After walking around for a long time, Florx finds an iron door that leads to an extremely long hallway, made out of quartz and clay block walls. The hallway eventually leads to an office building style room and contains windows that view out to nothing. According to the subtitles, jet noises from an airplane can be heard. After wandering around, Florx finds another door that leads to a stairwell.

When Florx exits the stairwell, he is found to be in a massive mansion/cathedral style building containing modern blocks such as lanterns, and what is assumed to be concrete blocks.

Florx, after walking around for a while, fell through one of the floors, and ended up in a massive water/ocean style level, featuring nothing but water surrounding him. Then, the recording ended.

When the footage was shown to TBoneX07 and bluecrafter07, neither of them recognized any of the levels, other than the very beginning of the video.

== Escape ==
So far, there is only one way to exit the Puurooms, and that way is to get teleported into a position where you can noclip back out. So far, 7 players have entered and exited the Puurooms. All 7 players got teleported at different times to what they thought was just another room in the Puurooms. However, upon wandering for a few moments, they turned and saw the Overworld down a hallway. As they walked out of the hallway into the Overworld and turned around to see the hallway, it was just cliffside. No sign of the Puurooms whatsoever.

Because of this, it is safe to say that the Puurooms are in a completely inaccessible location due to the bedrock coating. It is also good to keep in mind that irritating the staff can possibly bring you here. It is entirely possible to be stuck in the Puurooms for a day, a week, a month, or even a year. However, the most amount of time somebody has spent in the Puurooms so far was MauveTheHunter, who spent 185.8 hours from 7/26/22 to 8/3/22 trapped inside.

New Bubbletown is a massive, urban city located northeast of spawn. It was established on the twelfth of August, 2021. The owners are TBoneX07 and salthepal128. For around the first 3 months of Map 11, New Bubbletown was under control by the New Bubbletown Authority which was run by bubbleGuy192. The New Bubbletown Authority eventually shut down after TBoneX07 kicked bubbleGuy192 out of power and took over.

== Early Beginnings ==
New Bubbletown started out in a flat and hilly area near spawn. TBoneX07 established the city after building a cobblestone border on the shores of the town, and put signs around saying that New Bubbletown was established. The first buildings to go up were the PuuPath Inc. Headquarters, MiningYourOres's brick tower and Bubblemall, all located in the Downtown district of Burghian. Bubblemall's influence helped expand the city due to the traffic of players coming in to purchase people's stuff. After a while the city was abandoned due to bubbleGuy192's harsh treatment toward the New Bubbletown Authority and the lack of motivation.

== New Era ==
After bubbleGuy192 was removed from the New Bubbletown Authority and Puucraft in November of 2021, TBoneX07 and salthepal128 got rid of the New Bubbletown Authority and began go expand the city, building around 20 new skyscrapers in 7 days, and expanding further out into the Downtown district of Mesome and the Uptown districts of Sarnic and Measan. This new era of New Bubbletown was much more peaceful and quaint as bubbleGuy192 was no longer around to boss people around.

== Bubblemall ==
Bubblemall is the main icon tower complex of the city. It features 3 nearly identical buildings, all built with snow, glass and wood. Before Map 11 was released, bubbleGuy192 intended for the Bubblemall Complex to have 8 identical towers, but this was narrowed down to 4 and then finally 3 to save resources and maintain motivation. Its Northwestern Tower was the first tower to be planned out and constructed in the city and took around 5 hours to build. Shortly after the second tower was constructed, the East tower. Finally, the Southwest tower was the last to be completed, and took the longest to finish. TBoneX07 often refers to the Southwest Tower as the "Forgotten Tower." In around September, Bubblemall was expanded and a basement area was added. This was to make the shopping experience feel more open and hopefully draw in more attention, however this was not the case and the Basement's shops still remain vacant. In mid January, a big upgrade was added and the underground railway station was revamped in order to compensate for the Railway Trade Union line going to Bubblemall, as well as other railways going to Bubblemall, as a part of the city's infrastructure. Some features of the towers include the Bubblemall Sky Gardens on the roof of the East Tower, the Bubblemall Tranquil Garden which is beside the East Tower, a Dance Club on the top floor of the Southwest tower, and a seasonal shop on the second floor of the Northwest Tower. On the 8th of May, 2022, TBoneX07 sold the Southwest tower which is equivalent to 25% of Bubblemall's assets to Mixarium for $2,000 PuuBux. This resulted in 75% of Bubblemall's assets (East Tower, Northwest Tower, Basement) being owned by TBoneX07 and salthepal128, and 25% if Bubblemall's assets (Southwest Tower) being owned by Mixarium. The entire complex took about 80 stacks of snow blocks, 71 stacks of wood planks, and 68 stacks of glass. The tower was designed by bubbleGuy192, and was built by players such as midgetpounder, TheXLMinecrafter, Mixarium, samwoot, luigiriot, TBoneX07, bluecrafter07, salthepal128, PlotyMinecraft, CalmCreeper360 and others.

== New Bubbletown Authority ==
The New Bubbletown Authority was created by bubbleGuy192 to plan out and manage his new, next map project, New Bubbletown. The New Bubbletown Authority featured people such as bubbleGuy192, TBoneX07 and many of bubbleGuy192's friends who had no correlation to Puucraft. This caused a lot of controversy amongst the New Bubbletown Authority, and due to the demanding and bossy attitude from bubbleGuy192, construction and motivation in the city slowed and deteriorated. TBoneX07 and salthepal128 asked bubbleGuy192 to make the New Bubbletown Authority more balanced, and bubbleGuy192 agreed. On the 17th of October 2021, bubbleGuy192 made the new authority which was comprised of the main city owners as well as some builders that helped with the city. However, despite this more balanced feature, bubbleGuy192 was still very demanding and adamant about what he wanted built and how he wanted it. Because of this, TBoneX07 kicked bubbleGuy192 out of the New Bubbletown Authority as well as the project. After this, the New Bubbletown Authority was closed and was replaced with the New Bubbletown Discord.

== Notable Builds ==
Some notable builds throughout the city include:

Bubblebridge which was built by TBoneX07 and salthepal128 and took about a month to build. It is the largest Suspension Bridge in Map 11 and possibly the largest Suspension Bridge ever on Puucraft.

Measan Stadium is a massive indoor stadium featuring a modular arena for PvP and Spleef. The Stadium took about a week to complete, and was built by TBoneX07, salthepal128, Existing_Player, Bluecrafter07 and others. The stadium features 12 skyboxes, shop spaces, locker rooms, and a lot of seats. In total the stadium can hold about 960 people, which is a little more than the number of people in the Puucraft Discord server as of the time that this article is written. It is the largest Stadium ever in Puucraft history, and if Brixworth's stadium is ever built, Measan Stadium will be the largest indoor stadium in Puucraft history.
